“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?  Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Marianne Williamson

We always tend to hide behind our weaknesses and believe these to be our identity. Once in a while, it is advisable to get out of your comfort zone and see yourself for who you truly are.

We are put in certain circumstances that we may not have much control over. However, what we can control is our attitude and how we react to what we are faced with.

Accept this challenge to allow yourself to shine. Yes, it is scary and it is the fear of the unknown. We do not believe that we are worthy of shining and shimmering to get ourselves out there. However, this keeps us static and does not allow to realise our potential.

Take one step at a time. Today just do one thing that you will lead you towards fulfilling your passion. When you follow your passion you are giving yourself permission to shine and shimmer.

“I wish I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being.”
